Telehealth Online Psychiatric Evaluations

Getting real psychiatric help shouldn’t require a waiting room. Our telehealth online psychiatric evaluations are comprehensive, 45- to 60-minute assessments conducted over secure video, covering your symptoms, history, and goals just as thoroughly as an in-person visit would. All you need is a private space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera. From there, we build a personalized treatment plan and continue care through convenient follow-up appointments, all without the drive, waiting room, or extra hassle.

These evaluations yield:

  • An appropriate diagnosis
  • An ongoing care schedule
  • A treatment plan
  • Open lines of communication to monitor your response and ensure you feel cared for

Medication Management

Psychiatric medication is one tool in your treatment plan, not the whole toolbox, and we take a careful, judicious approach to prescribing. Our psychiatric PAs are licensed providers authorized to evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe psychiatric medications, including controlled substances where clinically appropriate. We start conservatively, aim for the lowest effective dose, and continually reassess whether a medication is still the right fit, rather than renewing prescriptions by default. If something isn’t working, that conversation is always welcome, not something you need to justify.

Documentation and Forms Support

Living with a mental health condition sometimes means navigating paperwork on top of everything else, and that paperwork can become its own source of stress. We help patients complete FMLA forms, workplace or school accommodation requests, and disability documentation as part of ongoing care. Rather than treating paperwork as an afterthought, we build time for this support into your treatment plan so you can stay focused on feeling better.

Specialist Referrals

The most effective and meaningful mental health care often involves a team. When therapy, counseling, specialized testing, or a higher level of care would support your progress, we help connect you with trusted specialists and evidence-based services in our network. For more complex or treatment-resistant cases, we can also help coordinate referrals for advanced options, such as neurofeedback, nutrition support, or intensive outpatient programs, so you always have a clear next step.

Lab Orders and Results

Psychiatric care sometimes benefits from a fuller picture of your physical health. When appropriate, we can order relevant lab work to help rule out underlying medical causes for your symptoms, monitor how your body is responding to a medication, or inform a treatment decision with tools like GeneSight. We review your results with you directly and explain what they mean for your care, rather than leaving you to interpret a report on your own.

Blooming Medical Group Services FAQs

Not at all. Most patients start with a general psychiatric evaluation, and your provider will help determine which services, whether that’s ongoing medication management, a referral, or additional testing, make sense for your specific situation from there.

Yes, all of our psychiatric services are available via telehealth. Evaluations, medication management, letters and forms, specialist referrals, and lab order coordination can all be handled through our telehealth platform. Actual lab work, if ordered, is typically completed at a local lab or the kit will be mailed to your home.
